r. Susan Wnuk, PhD., C. Psych, is a clinical and health psychologist at the University Health Network Bariatric Surgery Program in Toronto and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry. She provides clinical care to pre- and post-bariatric surgery patients that involves assessment, individual therapy, and the facilitation of mindfulness and DBT skills groups. Her research interests include eating disorders, obesity, mindfulness and behavioral interventions. She is involved in research projects investigating psychosocial predictors of outcome and the effectiveness of behavioral interventions including mindfulness and cognitive-behavioural therapy. Dr. Wnuk supervises students, facilitates workshops for professionals, publishes research and presents at conferences.
