Saloomeh  is  an  internationally  educated  Registered  Dietitian  and  Certified  Diabetes  and Bariatric Educator with over 12 years of experience at the Bariatric Surgery Clinic, at Guelph General Hospital. She has a strong background in community health, having worked with pregnant and breastfeeding mothers in Family Health Team and Hospital settings.

Passionate about post-bariatric surgery nutrition, she focuses on specialized care for pregnant individuals, emphasizing evidence-based education on nutrition and vitamin supplementation from pre-pregnancy planning onward. As a mother of two, she values the role of healthy eating in family life.

Understanding the unique nutritional challenges bariatric patients face during pregnancy and postpartum, Saloomeh is dedicated to sharing her expertise to support this population in achieving optimal health.

Ms. Lisa Mooser, MAN, RD, CDE

Guelph General Hospital-Bariatric Clinic, Surgical program

Lisa Mooser is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph and a Certified Diabetes Educator.  With over 12 years experience at the Guelph General Hospital Bariatric Clinic, she specializes in supporting patients through both the medical and surgical aspects of bariatric care.  She has developed a strong passion for guiding the post-bariatric population through key life events that carry higher risks due to surgical status.  As a mother of two, she values the importance of support during pregnancy and is dedicated to helping individual optimize their nutrition to improve health outcomes for both parent and baby.
