Elder Gramma Geraldine Shingoose
Geraldine Shingoose is a Residential School Survivor and Warrior from 1962-1971. She is a Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work Degree at the University of Manitoba in 1996 and is currently retired. She is a Knowledge Carrier of the Directions as well as a Sacred Pipe Carrier and Sweat Lodge Holder.
She is a Matriarch Indigenous Grandmother who provides guidance and support to the Community. She is from Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve, Treaty 4 Territory.
